While New Jersey Pain Care Center may have earned its reputation as the premiere center for the relief and treatment of back pain in NJ, our areas of expertise go far beyond that. The talented staff at NJPCC is able to treat conditions and ailments which may affect the body's extremities as well as bones or joints. Should you begin to experience pain or limited movement in the hands or feet, you may be suffering from one of several conditions that we are able to treat.

One ailment that affects the foot is known as plantar fasciitis. When this condition develops, the plantar fascia (a band of tissue that extends from the heel) becomes irritated. The plantar fascia, which also supports the foot's arch, is inflamed after sustaining repeated strain or tension. As a result of this irritation, the sufferer may expect to experience severe pain when applying any sort of pressure to the foot such as when standing or walking. Treatment options often include rest, the application of ice, strengthening exercises, and possibly surgery.

Conditions such as plantar fasciitis can make life incredibly difficult for any active NJ resident. Be sure to consult the experienced men and women of NJPCC for all your NJ pain management needs.
